| Founded in 1887, Syston Rugby Football Club started
out as a small local team on the northern side of Leicester. The team played there for over a century, until in 1989 it moved its roots the short distance to Queniborough. An excellent coaching set up, lead by head coaches Andy Ward and Rob Nockles, enables the club to thrive on its original core vaules of encouraging players from ages six to sixty to participate in the worlds greatest team sport. With over 150 Senior Members aged 17-60, and 250 Children Members aged 6-16 the club is as important today as ever, having provided many players for the Leicester Tigers over the past 20 years. |
